10 Years and Going Strong Airepair Air Conditioning Services celebrates 10 years of existence this September 2010. On behalf of Airepair and the Wiseman family I would sincerely like to thank all the wonderful people that have contributed to the ongoing success of the business. Without the hard work of staff and the fantastic support of long term clients and suppliers, Airepair would not be where it is today, I thank you all. From the humble beginnings in September 2000 with 14 employees, wonderful support from clients and suppliers and very little money, Airepair Air Conditioning Services was formed. The next 10 years would see the company become one of the largest and most respected service businesses in Victoria with 50 plus employees. Some long term clients have been Coles, Holmesglen Institute, Programmed Group and BOC just to name a few. Airepair through the years made two acquisitions these being 'Robbaire Heating and Cooling' and 'New Systems Refrigeration', these two businesses were bolt on acquisitions that enabled Airepair to satisfy the heating and refrigeration sectors. During the growth of the business it became more apparent that the environmental issues were starting to impact on the community as a whole. As a result Airepair embarked on core areas of the business that embraced the concern for the environment with regard to work practices and the use of plant and equipment. It was decided that all service vehicles should be constructed with the least carbon emission status, hence the dedicated LPG engine service fleet of vehicles (33 vehicles in total). All washable filters should over time be replaced with disposable type and the continual adherence of all licensing requirements that ultimately cleaned up the industry and ensure that ozone depleting substances are not emitted to the atmosphere. With growth there is a need to manage, so all areas of the business are managed by competent people who have been in the industry for many years having completed Apprenticeships themselves. Along with our service department Airepair established a small projects department that caters directly for our clients needs to ensure first class equipment and workmanship and has the ability to quote all types of replacement or new equipment ranging from chillers down to wall hung split systems. This department was established through necessity as our client base demanded quality workmanship and as some had said over the journey "We can rely on Airepair because why would they put a long term relationship at risk?" So after 10 years we are proud of what Airepair has achieved and look forward to many more years to come. Thank You Brad Wiseman  |
